Indian Sculpture

Ancient India had statues of gods, goddesses, kings, Buddha, and men and women dancing.  They were usually made out of bronze or stone.

This is a statue of the god Garuda.

This is a statue of the goddess Lakshmi, also the goddess of love.

This is a statue of the goddess Saraswati.

This is a statue of the god Agni.

This is a statue of the goddess Durga.

This is a statue of Buddha.

This is another statue of Buddha.

This is a sculpture of a girl dancing.

This is a sculpture of girls dancing on the side of a temple.

This is a sculpture of King Ramachandra of Ayodha.
